The 4th season of the Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Contest is now accepting submissions.
The specs from 3 seasons:
—9 writers produced!
—3 writers in pre-production!
—8 writers optioned or hired on assignment!
PRIZES:
The winner of the short script contest will get their script optioned and produced and the winners of the feature and TV pilot categories will get an audio recording (also called table read) of their full screenplay with professional actors and a director.*
Three winners also receive 1-year Screenwriting Staffing Membership and 10 pitches from Virtual Pitch Fest!
All entries receive top-tier analysis.
Unlike other competitions, our winners also work side by side with producers to develop their work and push the screenwriter closer to production.
Winning films from Spring and Summer 2021 contests can be watched here! Winners of Fall 2021 contest are in pre-production.
Our goal is not only to find the best scripts possible, but to provide resources that edify creators from Nevada and across the globe, and bring them to the forefront of our rapidly growing film community.
*The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
